1. Who we are

This website is the professional site of Dr. Girish Godbole, Director and Senior Consultant in Interventional Cardiology at Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) Hospital, Electronic City, Bangalore. It describes his clinical expertise, conditions treated, publications, research, faculty work, and patient resources, and it provides ways to request an appointment, a second opinion, or a professional collaboration.

This site is not the official website of KIMS Hospital. Clinical consultations, procedures, and hospital care are delivered at the hospital (or another facility where care is arranged) and are subject to that institution’s policies, admission processes, and billing.

2. Informational purpose

Content on this website — including articles, videos, FAQs, descriptions of procedures (such as angioplasty, primary PCI, TAVI, pacemaker and ICD therapy), and condition overviews — is provided for general education and to help you understand the nature of Dr. Godbole’s practice.

Website messages are not monitored continuously and are not an emergency service.

4. Appointments and clinical care

You may request a consultation through the contact form, by telephone, or by email. Submitting a request does not confirm an appointment, create a doctor–patient relationship, or guarantee a particular date, procedure, or outcome.

Appointments, investigations, and procedures at KIMS Hospital, Electronic City, Bangalore are arranged subject to clinical appropriateness, hospital scheduling, and applicable hospital rules. Referrals and direct appointments for interventional cardiology consultations are welcomed, but acceptance of a request remains at the discretion of the practice and the hospital.

5. Second opinion service

The second opinion pathway is an independent review of information you choose to share — such as reports, imaging summaries, and prior treatment recommendations — so that you can make a more informed decision about your heart care. Review may take place in person or remotely, including by video consultation or a written report, as arranged with the practice.

Sending a request or uploading records does not mean a review has been accepted or completed. A treating relationship arises only if and when the practice agrees to provide the review or consultation. A second opinion is based on the materials available at the time; it may be limited if records are incomplete, and it does not replace your treating physician or emergency care. Recommendations, if any, are educational and decision-support in nature unless and until you attend for clinical care under an agreed arrangement.

Submitting an enquiry is an invitation to discuss a proposal; it does not create a contract, speaking booking, or research agreement.
